Athens, Greece - 31 October 2016 - Intracom Telecom, a global telecommunication systems and solutions vendor, announced today that it received the Gold Award in the "Smart Lighting" category at the Best City Awards 2016, organized by Boussias Communications, for implementing a "Smart City" pilot project in the Municipality of Ilioupoli in Attica, Greece.
Intracom Telecom has developed an innovative solution, powered by ICEGateway, ideal for municipalities and cities that share the vision of a "Smarter Connected Society" and want their infrastructure to interact with the public. The solution allows local authorities to maintain full control of infrastructure and monitor, in real-time, the quality of services offered.
